Romans 2:12-16
Paul is here arguing that the Jews who had knowledge of the Law (of God) will be judged at the end of time in accordance with whether or not they observed it. Gentiles will be judged, not on the basis of the Law, but whether intrinsically they were good or bad people: ignorance of the requirement of the Law being no excuse on the great day of judgement.
Paul remind us we will all be judged by God but the judgement will be based on whether we were good or bad not on some other basis.
