2nd Corinthians 10:1-11
This is hard stuff. Without going into the study of it as we would do in Bible Study this section (Chapters 10-13) of the letter throws up many issues which are complicated.
Paul is defending himself against brutal criticism here as some of the Corinthians challenge his authority, ridicule his looks, and suggest he has got above himself. Given Paul had brought the gospel to Corinth these attacks on him must have been extremely hurtful but he tells them he will refute all their arguments and uphold the Good News he has taught without favour wherever he has exercised his ministry.
