James 4:11-16
In this practical little letter offering wisdom as to how we should live we have here another couple of gems.
Judging others is a perilous business and the writer warns against it because in time we are all subject to judgement – by God.
The second piece of this passage is about the person who makes plans mindless of circumstances. The wisdom is yes, make plans, do not let fear or uncertainty paralyse you from making plans for the future but always do so in the knowledge that you do so by God’s will. It is by the grace of God that ur plans come to fruition and to think otherwise is arrogance.
