1st Corinthians 3:10-23
Paul reflects that he laid the foundation of the work that is being continued but he insists they must do their best otherwise the firm foundation laid down will be wasted. He then goes on to tell them they themselves are God’s temple they belong to God. He then hints that even they may have been brought to faith by himself or Cephas or Apollos but ultimately they belong to God in Christ A message about diversity within the Church possibly but pointing to the unity of purpose built upon a sure foundation.
