2nd Timothy 1:12-14
We continue from where we left off yesterday.
Remember Paul is in prison. He trusts, that, despite his imprisonment, both he and the work he has being doing, is safe with God. He entrusted his life to God and he is reassured in that trust because he knows God is faithful to his servants.
In verse thirteen he reminds Timothy he also has a sacred trust and that is to safeguard all that he has been taught by Paul. Timothy was to keep faith and maintain the truths he had been given by Paul.
A nice little reminder that while we trust in God for all we do God also trusts in us to keep faith with the gospel in Christ. A short passage but an important reminder.
