📍Place the poppy installation in the St. Gilbert’s Chapel , close by the War Memorials.
📍An idea for the Poppy Installation is to put it in the Chancel at the back wall, draping down one side of the dominant Cross window, across the bottom of it, then towards the floor level on the other side.
- this window is so prominent, especially as a focal point on the streaming of our services.
- there are some projecting small ledges that can break the weight of the installation.
- In the correct position it can be seen during live screening services.
- It can't be put on the pulpit and down the steps as the pulpit has to be moved out of the way for orchestral concerts etc.
📍Attach poppies to the end of each row of chairs in our Sanctuary
📍Attach the poppies to netting and drape from the pulpit and down the steps
📍Fishing net cascading down one of the pillars with poppies attached
📍Make an enormous poppy from plywood and then cover the structure with the knitted poppies. Mount on a Union Jack Flag Pole. Could also be attached to a huge pole or suspended from a hight.
📍Attach the poppies onto strips of material either red or black 15 inches in depth. Place the strips of material round the pillars in the sanctuary
