UPDATED FRIDAY 6TH MARCH 2026
Easter Breakfast [6/4/26] Tickets on Sale – Sunday 15th March
This is to inform everyone that Easter Breakfast tickets will be on sale on Sunday, 15th March.  We encourage you to purchase your tickets early.

Many thanks to everyone who supported Sherbrooke Mosspark Women’s Group coffee morning on the 21stFebruary.  We raised a fabulous £1,245 split between the PPWH & Sherbrooke Mosspark.

Due to the generosity of the Kirk Session and the Sherbrooke Initiative, we have been able to purchase this new flexible, lightweight staging. Its design allows us to easily dismantle and store it away after every concert.  For Sundays Service, the staging has been left out so that everyone has the opportunity to see it.
We express our sincere thanks to the Kirk Session and the Sherbrooke Initiative for their support and generosity, which have made this valuable addition possible.

Kirk Session  The Kirk Session of Sherbrooke Mosspark has agreed to extend its number by up to four additional people.  Nominations are now invited, with a closing date of 15 March. If you wish to nominate someone, please ensure that the person you nominate is aware of and willing to accept the nomination. All nominations should be submitted in writing to the Church Office. Click here

Spring has hopefully arrived, and our thoughts are turning to this year’s plant sale which will be on Saturday 9th May. McLaren’s Nursery has already been booked but HOME-GROWN plants are the key to a more interesting and profitable sale.
When you are dividing perennials or re-designing your garden, please don’t put the surplus plants on the compost heap! Pot them up and label them for the sale in May – they will be very welcome. I’m really looking forward to getting out into the garden again – hope you are too.

Our Elders Conference is on Sunday 22nd March, 12 noon after our service and looks at the role of the elder in the modern church. Please respond to Janis in the office by 13th March.

Messy Church had a record total attending at the Mosspark Bowling Club, on Tuesday, of 36. That's made up of 18 children, 9 parents and 9 of a team.

Messy Church is all one family so we count it as 36. It was a brilliant night. Graham and Sheila were leading with the story and crafts, and our very able kitchen team coped extremely well, laying on a wonderful tea for everyone.

It is always difficult when you don't know your numbers coming before the night, but like the loaves and fishes God provided with the help of Christine L, Christine Mac and Christine S. Christine L's mini pancakes and jam and tiny meringues are legendary and a must have!

One of our team, Christine Savage, is having to step down due to family commitments so a big thank you to her for all she has done. Christine is from Ibrox Parish Church and she threw herself enthusiastically into all the roles. We wish her well..... and if anyone has the time and wishes to help in any way with Messy Church, please feel free to talk to Ruth Sills or Brenda or John Duthie.

Urban Go Hotel: Female helpers only required to support the residents of the Ruban Go Hotel which hosts asylum seekers by visiting and building relationships with the families and individual, our interfaith group will be visiting on Thursday mornings 10:00 - 12:00 noon.  This has been changed at our request as the AM chorus meeting on a Wednesday.  Please consider helping  with this important work.
