Write in the box your 5 pieces of music & why
This has been almost impossible . To pick 5 of your all time favourite musical pieces but here goes anyway

1) Coronation Anthem- Zadok the Priest by Handel CLICK HERE
a wonderful stirring piece which you have to play loudly!

2) Hallelujah Chorus...Handel's Messiah CLICK HERE
Oh how I love choirs & this just does it for me. You never tire of it. Absolutely brilliant.....Again you have to play this at full pelt!!

3) Beethoven's Symphony No 6... The Pastorale CLICK HERE
One of his finest works in my opinion. A wonderful piece & again play loudly to get the full effect

4) I love all types of music but I was always into singer/songwriters so the remaining choices fall into this category.
This was released in 1975 but unbelievably didn't make the british charts. Why??
Diamonds & Rust by Joan Baez CLICK HERE
Great voice & superb lyrics. Love it,love it, love it!!

5) You're So Vain by Carly Simon CLICK HERE
Her finest song in my opinion. Still sounds fresh almost 50 years on. Again great voice, great lyrics

Your book & why
I love true crime stories & biographies the best but if you're pinning me down to just one book then I would plump for Oliver Twist by Dickens.

Boy did he know how to write stories. This was a great novel with plenty of characters good & bad which I love & of course it did have a happy ending!

Your luxury item & why
Probably my pet cat Corky because if I was feline low, I could in a whisker, tail him down & communicate with him! Now what a catastrophe that would be!!
(sorry about that)

Neil
