Intermezzo from Cavaleria Rusticana Pietro Mascagni

I fell in love with this piece of music the first time I heard it. It makes me cry every time, but in a good way. CLICK HERE

‘That Sunday That Summer’
Nat King Cole
My taste in music was greatly influenced by my father. He often told me of the night he saw Nat King Cole in concert in Glasgow and it is a great regret that  I never had the opportunity to see him myself. I remember we bought this record as a birthday present for my father - the first gift I remember being a part of. CLICK HERE

‘Won’t You Change Partners’
Frank Sinatra and Antonio Carlos Jobim
Like Nat King Cole, I don’t ever remember a time I didn’t know of, and love Frank Sinatra. Combine that with my love of Bossa Nova and the beautiful arrangement, this is just the most perfect song for me. CLICK HERE

One Less Bell To Answer’
Barbra Streisand
I love the words, so poignant and relatable. CLICK HERE

Toccato from Symphony No  5 Charles-Marie Widor
When I was 12, a good friend of my brother, James Bale, said when I get married, I must have this as the recessional music. It hasn’t happened yet but if it ever does I certainly will have this played. My spine tingles every time John Gormley plays after morning service. CLICK HERE

Your book
The works of Carl Faberge.

Your luxury item & why
Harrods - it’s got the lot. If not allowed then Parmesan Cheese.
